About TiE Austin Angels

We are an investment group of TiE Austin, representing one of the most dynamic growth regions in the United States. Our investors are accomplished entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and advisors.

We are primarily interested in seed and Series A rounds of innovative companies in AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, fintech, healthcare and medical devices, and ecommerce. To assist our portfolio to the maximum extent, we prefer companies based in Texas, and especially the greater Austin area.

Typical investments range from $100,000 to $500,000, though we are open to other amounts depending on the opportunity. Companies are selected to present to our investors at one of our pitch meetings. TiE Austin Angels will coordinate a structured diligence process for shortlisted companies. We do not operate as a fund, and each investor makes their own decision on whether to invest. We may refer applicant companies to angel groups in other TiE chapters or TiE Global Angels, a network of 3,000 individual investors, solely at our discretion.
